Tungsten carbide choke beans are used to control the flow of fluids and are usually mounted on the tungsten carbide choke stem. They are widely used on a choke valve in oil gas industry or other energy industry.
Tungsten carbide parts have long since been used in the petroleum industry for fluid handling, valve balls, valve seats, flow control valves, carbide sleeves, etc. While steel and other materials were traditionally used to make these parts, tungsten carbide easily replaced the same with industries preferring to opt for it owing to the following features:

Assembled with tungsten carbide tips and SS410/316 body. Tungsten carbide tip in conjunction with stainless steel stem provides optimum wear resistance in erosive conditions.
